About Me

  • I am a Research Scientist/Engineer in the music group at Adobe Research, where I’m currently focusing on controllable and efficient music generation. My Adobe page is here. My work is application-oriented, but my interests lie in the principled and mathematical foundations.
  • I obtained my Ph.D. from AIR lab in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at University or Rochester, supervised by Prof. Zhiyao Duan. My doctoral research focused on applying deep learning methods across audio domains such as sound effects, speech, and music.
  • Prior to my Ph.D., I completed my Master’s degree in Acoustics from the Physics Department at Nanjing University where I specialized in acoustics and signal processing. I also hold a Bachelor’s degree in Physics from Kuang Yaming Honors School at Nanjing University.
